How does this work?

Each day features a variety of products that are auctioned off one by one. When a product comes up for the live auction, the price keeps dropping until the deal sells out. There may be one piece only in stock, or there may be several dozen -- you won’t know. The game is that you can wait for the deal to keep getting better and better every second, but if you wait too long, it may be game over.

1. Is there a time limit for a deal to end?
No time limit. Deal will end when there is no more quantity left to sell. Until then, the price just keeps dropping.

2. At what price do I make the purchase?
You decide! That’s the beauty of this. You pay the price you think is right. Obviously, if you want to get the deal at an even better price, then wait for it to fall some more. The risk you are playing with is that the quantity might stock out and the deal will expire.

3. Can the price ever go up?
Never on CountSpin.

4. How low can the price go?
The market forces of demand and supply decide that.

5. How do I know how many pieces are available on any featured deal?
You don’t. That’s the game. If you knew that, then you would be able to predict how low the price might fall.

6. These are ridiculously low prices (and possibly free)! How do you make any money?
First of all, we deal in large volumes and we buy our merchandise at wholesale prices. Secondly, we play with the law of averages. Sometimes we make money; sometimes we lose money. But at the end of the week, we do well enough to come back and play again the next week.

7. After I confirm a bid, if the price still keeps falling further, can I cancel my purchase and ask for a lower price?
Doesn’t work that way. It’s a game. You are playing with risk and so are we. Unless you bought out the last remaining piece of an item, the price will keep falling. We can assure you though that, whatever price you pay, it will be below retail. In that sense, you are either getting a good deal or a great deal.

8. I was all set to make my purchase, but the deal stocked out. Can I still make the purchase?
Sorry; once it’s gone, it’s gone.

9. Once a deal has ended, will you feature the item again?
Maybe, if we are able to find more stock in our next shipment. But it won’t be for at least another week.

10. Can I buy more than one piece of a certain item at one time?
You can just buy one piece at a time.

11. I see just one item being featured. Do you sell anything else?
One deal at a time – yes. A fresh deal with a new item will start right after the current item sells out. Just wait a few minutes and you’ll see.

12. Are the products genuine and unused?
Brand new and 100% authentic! We don’t sell fake goods… unless you pay us with counterfeit money.

13. Can I return an item if I am not satisfied with the purchase?
Yes – we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you don’t like it, you can ship it back within 30 days of receipt to the address it was mailed from. We don’t issue refunds, but we will credit your account on CountSpin so that you can apply the amount towards future purchases.

14. What is the difference between Partial Registration and Full Registration?
Partial Registration can set you up to do anything you want on the website, except make purchases. To actively participate in the live auction process and secure great deals, you will have to provide your credit card details, which is what Full Registration is all about.

15. Why is the site asking me to register fully before I make a purchase? Why can’t I just enter my credit card info later?
This is a live auction site which makes it a pretty big deal when someone hits the ‘Buy1Now’ button. When they confirm the order, we reserve one piece so that nobody else can get their hands on it any more. If after that, they don’t pay up, then they have just disrupted the auction and wasted everybody’s time. To prevent this, we need to make sure that all buyers are genuine and have provided their credit card before they are invited to participate in the auction.

16. I don’t have a credit card. Can I pay any other way?
We only accept credit cards – either Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

17. How soon can I expect to receive a purchased item?
Within 10-15 days. We use a variety of delivery options depending on where the item is being shipped from.

18. Are all products shipped by CountSpin?
If the deal says ‘featured by CountSpin Direct,’ then yes; we will be shipping it. Sometimes, the deal may be featured by one of our authorized suppliers (called ‘spinners’). In that case, the respective spinner is undertaking to deliver the item.

19. Do you take responsibility for items sold on your site by your authorized suppliers?
Yes; we authorized them, so it’s only fair that we take full responsibility for their performance. Please contact us at counters@countspin.com if there is ever an issue with any of our suppliers.

20. Which countries do you deliver to?
We deliver worldwide.

21. Where are the items being shipped from?
CountSpin Direct generally ships all items from US, Hong Kong, or Singapore.

22. Why is Shipping & Handling charged separately?
For you, this is the price you are paying for the convenience of shopping without leaving your house. For us, this is an extra expense, regardless of what you have bought and at what price. It includes the fee charged by the courier service, insurance charge, and also the packaging and handling expenses incurred by our warehousing department.

23. What is the special promotion through which I can get $20 cashback?
Send us a video review of an item you purchased from us. We will use it on CounTV or just post it on our blog. Though you can use full creative freedom, the review should basically showcase the item. For every deal, one video submission will be picked as the winner and will be rewarded with a $20 cashback. The video can be uploaded by clicking the ‘Send Review, $20 Off’ button on the homepage.

24. Do you charge sales tax on any item?
Sales tax of 6% will be charged to orders being sent to Connecticut.

25. What if there are customs/import duties? Who will pay for that?
In most cases and most countries, there should be no customs/import duties. However, if there are any such charges, we are not responsible for them.

26. What does the ‘Compare Deal’ button do?
It triggers a search for the item on eBay, Amazon, and Google so that you can cross-compare prices. This will help you decide how much to pay for the item on CountSpin.

27. How does ‘Place Bid’ work?
Say you are interested in a deal that is queued up to play later, but you need to step away. You can place a bid in advance by specifying the price you want to pay for it. When the deal starts playing, the system will track the falling price against your bid. If the price drops to your bid amount, your purchase will automatically be made.

28. How do I use the Alert feature?
If you are interested in a deal that is queued up to play later, but you want to participate live instead of placing an advance bid, just click the ‘Alert Me’ button. We will send you an email alerting you just before the deal is about to go live.

29. What is CounTV?
Sometimes, we can share relevant video feeds that can help you learn more about the product or the brand that is being featured. Although we will try to make this ‘infotainment,’ many times it may simply be ‘entertainment.’

30. How much referral bonus can I collect?
No limit. Depends on how many bargain-hunting friends you have who love scoring great deals.

31. Can you just send me all the money I have earned through referral bonuses?
The referral bonus can only be spent on CountSpin.

32. What items can I spend the referral bonus on?
You can spend it on any deal featured on CountSpin. However, it can’t be applied towards Shipping & Handling charges.

33. How much time do I have to spend my referral bonus?
Your bonus is automatically credited to your account balance with CountSpin and you can spend it any time you wish, but please don’t keep it saved up for retirement.

34. Can you give me a breakdown of how much money I have earned through each reference?
Sorry, that would be violating the privacy of your friends because you would be able to figure out exactly how much shopping each one did and when. Surely you wouldn’t want your shopping habits to be transparent to the person who referred you either.

35. Is my personal information secure on your website?
Certainly, we follow strict privacy guidelines (you are invited to view our Privacy Policy online). We are not in the business of selling information on our customers or their activities. Moreover, our site transactions and database are hacker-safe and SSL-certified.
